they do not tolerate disrespect or deceit from the mortal realm
However they themselves will perform disrespect and deceit toward the mortal realm if they wish to. It's a one way street
They will steal your things if they want to and there's nothing you can do about it :)
it is all in good natured fun and actually a sign of affection from them
they thrive on elixers of health made of the giggles from pranks played on people

The fairies like to have their antics known,
so it is my duty to document what has been taking place around here.
First of all, they have been withholding the fairy music for months.
They think it's HILARIOUS.
Eventually they did offer a negotiation,
but in typical faery, it came wrapped in a riddle.
Basically they said they'd be willing to share a sliver of the fairy music,
if I could define to them what a sliver of music was.
I proposed that it was 1 bar...
At which point they decided
to change the measurement to a tickle.
Rendering the sliver riddle obsolete,
which I had thought long and hard about.
When I asked for clarification regarding the "tickle",
they changed the subject entirely
and started on about an elaborate plan for a multi audio player set up
that could splice the song into bits.
It requires extensive editing work on my part.
I am now in the process of calculating the measurements.
For now I have exported what I think is
"one tickle" of fairy music.

I know it's not much, but my hands are tied.
The faeries have their ways.

In other news, I am working on building an adequate infrastructure
to house the rest of the fairy music in the mortal realm,
but it's not as straight forward as you might think:
• bandwidth differences
• complicated fairy surround sound technology
• time distortion
• communication trickery from the fairies etc.
plus they just requested that I apply really intricate audio panning on the fairy flutes,
so now I have to learn how to do that...
Alas it will be built in due time, so just hold your horses.
this might be an angel, not a fairy...
